Technical Co-Founder / Founding Engineer (Equity-Based | AI Startup)

We’re building something bold in the HR tech space—AI-driven, design-first, and built to solve problems that have been ignored for too long. We’re now looking for a technical co-founder or founding engineer to join us on this journey. Someone who’s not just great at building, but excited to shape the future of a venture-backed product from day one.

This is an equity-based role (no cash compensation), ideal for someone who can either contribute technically, financially, or both, someone who wants ownership, not just a job.

This is a fully remote position for candidates based in UK or EU.What you will be doing:

• Build and lead the entire early-stage architecture (MVP and first iterations)
• Collaborate on product decisions and platform roadmap
• Own all technical aspects of development, from infrastructure to deployment
• Advise on future team structure and tech scaling as we grow
• Work closely with founders to align vision, tech, and go-to-market

What we are looking for:

• Full-stack development skills (preferred: React, Node.js, Python, or similar)
• Able to deliver a working MVP solo in the early stage
• Startup-ready mindset: independent, resourceful, fast-paced
• Interest or experience with AI/automation integrations
• UK/European timezone preferred
• Bonus: open to contributing initial capital or strategic resources
