Objectives 

This role has two key objectives: 

  1. To lead Myisrael’s marketing and communications across all channels. 
  2. To develop creative and cost-effective ways to reach and engage target audiences with Myisrael’s key messages. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage marketing strategy, staying aligned with Myisrael’s mission and values. 
  • Manage Myisrael’s communications plan. 
  • Oversee the production of high-quality content, including digital assets and print materials for campaigns and events. 
  • Manage relationships with creative agencies and create assets in-house when appropriate. 
  • Maintain and enhance Myisrael’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communications. 
  • Manage Myisrael’s website, ensuring it is regularly updated, and work closely with the social media team to create and oversee content. 
  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote Myisrael’s projects and fundraising initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with the Head of Fundraising to develop donor communications and support fundraising activities. 
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and adjust strategies accordingly. 
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are used effectively. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Jewish press, maximising the advertising budget and securing regular coverage in print and online media. 

Skills and ExperienceEssential 

  • Proven experience in marketing, with a track record of developing and delivering successful strategies  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Canva, Mailchimp)  
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail  
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Jewish community and culture  
  • Strong connection to Israel  

Highly desirable 

  • Experience in the non-profit or charity sector  

Working Style 

  • Self-starter who can work independently and under pressure. 
  • Highly organised, efficient, and able to keep actions on schedule. 
  • Comfortable working in a part-time, remote working, team environment.
