About Velora HealthConnect

Velora HealthConnect is being built as a credible, multi-disciplinary telehealth clinic, initially focused on:

·        Weight management

·        Peptide-based therapies

·        Medicinal cannabis (where clinically appropriate)

Our longer-term vision includes mental health, psychology, and chronic disease support, delivered within a mature, defensible clinical framework.

The Role

As a Contract GP, you will deliver telehealth consultations that prioritise proper assessment, clinical judgement, and continuity of care.

You will be trusted to practise independently and responsibly.

Your responsibilities will include:

·        Conducting comprehensive telehealth consultations with new and existing patients

·        Performing appropriate clinical assessments and risk evaluation

·        Prescribing only when clinically indicated, in line with TGA, AHPRA, and RACGP expectations

·        Developing evidence-informed, individualised management plans

·        Maintaining high-quality, defensible clinical documentation

·        Contributing to clinical standards and governance as the clinic evolves

You will not be expected to:

·        Meet prescribing or revenue targets

·        Shorten consults to increase throughput

·        Promote specific products or therapies

·        Compromise your clinical judgement

Who We’re Looking For

We are intentionally selective.

This role will suit you if you:

·        Hold current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner

·        Have experience practising independently and responsibly

·        Are comfortable working in a telehealth setting

·        Value evidence, nuance, and shared decision-making

·        Communicate clearly, calmly, and professionally with patients

·        Care deeply about maintaining your professional reputation

Experience in telehealth, weight management, peptides, or medicinal cannabis is welcome — but sound clinical judgement matters more than niche exposure.
