- Comp range $46/hr- $50/hr · commensurate with experience
THE OPPORTUNITY
Almond Clear is a fast-growing DTC skincare brand that helps people feel confident and
free in their skin through simple, effective skincare powered by mandelic acid. Our
products make a real difference in people's lives. Almond Clear is an omnichannel brand
with sales across TikTok Shop, Amazon, and Shopify. The founder has a clear vision for the
brand’s mission and growth trajectory.
The Marketing Manager is a new role for Almond Clear, so you’ll be building the needed
systems, infrastructure, processes, and workflows. In addition to building and managing
the marketing operational engine, this role requires hands-on content support: you will
create and edit marketing assets, brief agencies, and coordinate assets across campaigns
and projects. You must be comfortable wearing many hats.
We need someone who has already done this work and is ready to take ownership from
day one. If you are energized by walking into a high-growth brand with beautiful,
well-defined branding, rolling up your sleeves, and building something that didn't exist
before, this is a role for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Owns and manages marketing projects. Sets deadlines and ensures all assets are delivered on time — email, social, Amazon, website.
- Website updates Execute graphic and copy updates to the website as needed. Brief the graphic designer, get assets from the right people, QA before publishing.
- Asset delivery (Amazon, TikTok)
- Develop and deliver to contract agencies that support Amazon & TikTok any product images, content, copy as needed.
- Project manage content creator to deliver monthly campaigns from brief to publish. Own the timeline and drive the delivery of content by each person. Future state: Review and approve campaigns
- Agency coordination Be the day-to-day point of contact for agencies supporting TikTok, Amazon, and paid search. Brief them, collect deliverables, report performance to team.
- Marketing calendar Maintain the single source of truth for all marketing activity. Develop and manage a calendar visible to all stakeholders in company
- Project Management Manage and create content to support deliverables of one off projects as needed
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
First 30 days You are learning the brand, the product, and the current workflow. You’ll
understand the current campaign schedule, develop relationships with
contractors and agencies, and understand where to go for needed assets.
60 days The monthly cadence of content creation is running consistently. You are taking
over projects from the Founder or Operations and can manage projects from
start to finish.
90 days You are developing SOPs where you see needed and have built trust with the
team as the point of contact for all marketing information. The founder’s
involvement in day-to-day marketing activities is minimal, mostly for approval
and strategy.
WHO YOU ARE
You understand Almond Clear’s heart and mission. You are someone who makes things
happen, and people describe you as a “go-getter” and “independent problem-solver.” You
are adaptable, resourceful, organized, and can pivot quickly to urgent projects. You are
creative and have an eye for design and detail.
EXPERIENCE
• 3-5+ years as a marketing coordinator, marketing manager, or project management
role within a DTC, e-commerce brand.
• Standard Operating Process creator: You know what a smooth functioning
marketing department looks like and can set it up from scratch. You’re comfortable
with ambiguity and build new SOPs to create efficiencies in the business.
• You’ve managed a content or campaign calendar and know what it takes to keep
one running week after week
• You’ve coordinated with external agencies or freelancers and know how to brief,
follow up, and hold people accountable
• You understand how Amazon listings, A+ content, and asset delivery work — even if
someone else writes the copy
• Personal experience and knowledge about skincare issues and products.
TOOLS
• Asana: All projects should be created and run through Asana.
• Slack, Email: reliable, proactive communication
• You have familiarity with platforms like Shopify, Canva
• Experience using Claude or AI tools for content workflow, asset creation and driving
efficiencies: You understand (or are learning) how to leverage them as an efficiency
tool and resource, but do not rely upon them to do the thinking.
• Familiarity with TikTok Shop or influencer/affiliate marketing workflows
