Human Resources Generalist

2. About the Opportunity:

The Human Resources Generalist will play a central role in managing and improving the full HR lifecycle. This position is designed for a professional who can work independently while collaborating with leadership to enhance HR systems, manage recruiting efforts during growth phases, and oversee benefits and compliance processes. The role is pivotal in maintaining efficient HR operations and fostering a positive organizational culture.

3. Responsibilities:

• Optimize HR systems, specifically Rippling, in partnership with leadership.

• Lead recruiting and talent acquisition activities during high-growth periods.

• Manage benefits administration and open enrollment processes.

• Oversee compliance tasks including year-end and beginning-of-year operations.

• Handle core HR functions such as documentation, leave tracking, onboarding, and offboarding.

• Maintain vendor relationships for 401(k) and Workers’ Compensation.

• Develop initiatives to promote wellness and connection among remote and in-office teams.

• Potentially assist with payroll processing as the role evolves.

4. Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience covering compliance, benefits, and recruiting.

• Knowledge of California wage and hour laws and best practices.

• Experience with Rippling or similar HRIS platforms.

• Ability to manage workload independently and collaborate effectively.

• Relevant certifications such as HRCI or SPHR are a plus.

• Residency and work authorization in California, Nevada, or New Mexico.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
