What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Conduct professional and courteous interviews and follow-up calls to gather personal and medical information
  • Accurately enter data into the Application Interview System (AIS) and Assistant Underwriting System (AURA)
  • Provide prompt and professional service to all inquiries received by phone or in writing
  • Resolve problems and expedite business by effectively communicating with underwriting staff and other departments
  • Communicate App Assist policies, procedures, and guidelines to internal and external customers

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative or customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of medical terminology
  • Proficient in data entry and customer service
  • Ability to maintain a private office space and connect a computer to a router

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Comfort with medical vocabulary and terminology
