Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager – HR Transformation

Location: Remote (Must be UK based)

Type of role: Contact

Contract Length: 6 months+

Day Rate: £300 - £400 (Outside IR35 – dependent on experience)

The Role:

• Lead the delivery of HR transformation initiatives from planning through execution.
• Coordinate with HR, IT, and Finance teams to align technical and operational outcomes.
• Manage dependencies across systems, ensuring integration is considered at every stage.
• Oversee the identification and implementation of technical solutions to enhance HR processes.
• Define and track project milestones, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support the design and testing of new system functionality (functional and non-functional).
• Ensure solutions support cloud-first, secure, and supportable environments.
• Champion data protection, compliance, and change control throughout the programme.
• Guide preparation of user stories, test cases, and documentation.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and provide clear communication across project phases.

Skills:

• Proven experience managing HR transformation or similar systems implementation projects.
• Familiarity with HR systems (e.g. Workday, Oracle HCM, SuccessFactors) is advantageous.
• Strong project delivery skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Understanding of cloud-based technical environments, integration, and compliance.
• Experience working in complex, regulated environments such as education or public sector.
