We are seeking a deeply curious and technical individual with a passion for Decentralized Finance (DeFi). The ideal candidate has an engineering mindset and is driven to explore, analyze, and innovate within the rapidly evolving DeFi landscape. You will be responsible for identifying key trends, dissecting protocol mechanics, and evaluating opportunities across various blockchain ecosystems.

What will you be doing:

• Conducting in-depth research into emerging DeFi protocols, primitives, and economic models (e.g., DEXs, lending protocols, derivatives, liquid staking, real-world assets).
• Designing, testing, and building proof of concepts to validate novel DeFi strategies, integrations, or solutions.
• Serving as a subject matter expert, sharing insights and educating internal teams (e.g., architects, developers) on the latest DeFi advancements and opportunities.
• Advising and consulting with clients on the DeFi landscape, including technological trends, risk assessments, and strategic implementation.
• Producing high-quality, insightful research publications (reports, articles, technical breakdowns) that are easily digestible and contribute value to the broader DeFi community.
• Actively participating in technical discussions with peers, attending industry events (both online and in-person), and building a strong professional network within the DeFi space.

What you bring to the table:

• 3+ years of experience in the blockchain space, with at least 1-2 years focused specifically on the blockchain and DeFi space.
• Strong understanding of core DeFi concepts (e.g., AMMs, liquidity pools, impermanent loss, yield farming, tokenomics).
• Proven ability to read and understand Solidity is required.
• Familiarity with major DeFi ecosystems beyond Ethereum (e.g., Solana, Cosmos, L2s like Arbitrum/Optimism) is highly desirable.
• Rust experience is a significant plus, or at least a strong willingness to learn.
• A genuine and demonstrable curiosity about DeFi and the underlying blockchain technology.
• Excellent ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, well-structured research publications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Highly self-organized with a strong sense of agency and the ability to work independently.
