Staff Product Designer, Financial Services Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Product Designer Financial Services Lead to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $207,485 – $244,100 annually Responsibilities

• Lead design strategy for Loyalty products including the company One membership and CB1 Card
• Develop and coach a team of product designers, providing structured feedback and development support
• Collaborate with senior Product and Engineering leaders to influence product roadmaps
• Drive strategic design initiatives for membership and retention mechanics
• Maintain high quality standards across all design surfaces through structured review processes
• Represent design in executive meetings and cross-functional leadership discussions

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product design experience
• Proven track record in leading design for subscription, loyalty, or membership products for over 1 million users
• Strong partnership experience with senior product and engineering teams
• Ability to set and execute on systems-level vision while maintaining high-quality output
• Experience in managing individual contributors through career development and feedback processes
• Familiarity with consumer fintech and payment product design
• Experience with responsible use of generative AI for workflow efficiency
