Report Writer

We are seeking a data professional with a background in SQL and healthcare reporting

The Report Writer/Cogito RCM Developer will take ownership of analytics and report delivery cycles, primarily working with revenue cycle applications. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, analyzing data, and developing insightful reports to support operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop complex SQL scripts, views, and stored procedures.
• Utilize data profiling techniques to ensure report accuracy.
• Create reports using SQL and various reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Cognos, Excel, and Cogito.
• Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• Ensure data integrity and quality by leveraging analytical and interpretive tools (e.g., trend analysis, comparisons, graphs, drill-downs, and exception analysis).
• Work with healthcare reporting databases and warehouses, becoming a subject matter expert in data sources such as Clarity and Caboodle.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Administration, Health Sciences, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of healthcare data experience or SQL reporting experience.
• Strong understanding of SQL tuning and optimization.
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets to support business objectives.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
