Senior Azure Data Engineer – Remote – £90,000-£100,000

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics.
• Developing ETL frameworks and ensuring data integrity across complex architectures.
• Working closely with stakeholders, architects, and engineers to deliver high-performance data solutions.
• Optimising Spark-based data processing and implementing best practices for cloud data platforms.
• Mentoring junior engineers and driving technical excellence across projects.

What We’re Looking For:

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Azure cloud services.
• Expert-level skills in Databricks, Spark, SQL, and Python.
• Strong understanding of ETL development, data warehousing, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM), and DevOps best practices.
• Ability to engage with clients and stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
