Role Purpose
- As a key member of the Brooke Sales and Marketing teams, the role is primarily responsible for assessing and estimating effort and complexity for proposed technical solutions to be presented to clients of Brooke, both current and new.
- The role requires a range of technical and non-technical skills. In addition to technical solution estimation, the role provides the opportunity to design and configure solution proof of concepts and working prototypes, delivering demonstrations to clients of Brooke, both current and new, to accelerate sales and the transition to delivery.
- This is an ideal role for candidates who enjoy reviewing and authoring technical documentation, with a strong passion for delighting the customer and driving engaging user experiences. - You will join an existing Technical Pre-Sales team accountable to Brooke’s Head of Sales to drive sales achievement, and our Head of Technology to maintain alignment to Brooke’s technical centres of excellence. This helps to ensure tight alignment between Sales and Marketing and the technology delivery team, as well as an effective transition from Sales to Delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the assessments of client projects and opportunities as a key member of the qualifications team through Brooke’s ‘Go - No Go’ processes
- Respond to clients’ technical requirements (functional and non-functional) and collaborate within Brooke to determine the type of solution architecture required, the required skills and the levels of experience needed
- Document requirements responses for tenders and design artefacts such as solution architecture overviews, entity relationship diagrams etc., ready for peer review and validation to support Brooke’s formal tender responses
- Recommend effort estimations for delivery to present technical investment estimates to clients, with clear line of sight to best delivery approach and technical complexities of the build
- Lead the Brooke technical response and presentation of the proposed solution through building demonstrations and presenting in-person and virtually to Brooke clients
- Aligned to the strategic direction of Brooke, design and deliver leading-edge proofs of concept and/or working prototypes that can be showcased to a broad range of users, internally and externally
- Support the transition from Sales to Delivery; at times, the transition may require some direct client engagement to maintain client confidence and set the project up for success
- Maintain and build on your existing technical credentials and certifications, and provide thought leadership on current and emerging technology aligning with Brooke’s key strengths
- Operate as a trusted and reputable Brooke contact for our ecosystem partners to engage on relevant technical solutions, challenges and proposed approaches; utilise your existing networks to benefit Brooke and its clients
- Occasional travel to present to clients and meet with colleagues will be required, however your primary workplace will be your home office

Key Qualifications
- A strong history of client-facing software development experience and/or prior technical pre-sales experience, working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities
- Salesforce technical expertise that is certified and referenceable, across one or more of the following Salesforce certifications:
- Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce OmniStudio Consultant and/or Developer
- Salesforce Platform Developer I
- Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant
- Excellent literacy and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to self-motivate and be comfortable to adapt and work with changing circumstances in a dynamic industry
- A demonstrated passion for engaging with clients to understand the problems that need to be solved, and connect this to Brooke’s ability to drive value-based engagements
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile project environments, with broad knowledge and experience in a variety of methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP)
Highly Desirable
- Existing relationships within the Salesforce eco-system and/or SaaS ecosystem
- Salesforce Architect certifications
- Experience in assessing or implementing Data and Integration (middleware) solutions as part of broader digital transformation programs
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, display strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail, with a passion to design and build high quality solutions and presentations
