Role Overview

BMG is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the Sales & Partnerships function and to work directly alongside our Sales Director, Bari Resnick. This is a dual role: you will support the full sponsorship sales lifecycle, from prospecting and outreach through to closing, while also acting as the Sales Director’s right hand, managing her schedule and helping her stay ahead of a fast-moving pipeline.

You will identify and qualify prospective sponsors, source decision-maker contacts, execute outreach, and support the conversion of opportunities into closed commercial agreements. In parallel, you will keep the Sales Director organised and one step ahead, owning her calendar, coordinating her meetings, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

The position offers direct exposure to the founding team and provides a structured pathway into a Partnerships Associate role.

Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive & Sales Support (to the Sales Director)

  • Own and manage the Sales Director’s calendar, scheduling meetings, calls, and follow-ups across multiple time zones.
  • Coordinate and prepare for meetings, including agendas, briefing notes, background research on prospects and partners, and post-meeting action points.
  • Provide inbox and correspondence support, drafting and triaging communications on the Sales Director’s behalf.
  • Track the Sales Director’s priorities and to-dos, proactively flagging deadlines and following through to completion.
  • Support travel, logistics, and ad hoc tasks that keep the Sales & Partnerships function running smoothly.

Outbound Sponsorship Sales

  • Conduct market research and build targeted prospect lists across sponsor categories relevant to BMG, including wellness, supplements, beauty, health technology, longevity, fertility, hormonal health, and lifestyle.
  • Source and verify decision-maker contacts across brand, partnerships, and public relations teams using Apollo.io and LinkedIn.
  • Execute personalised outbound email campaigns, with each communication tailored to the recipient brand’s positioning, recent activity, and strategic priorities.
  • Maintain disciplined follow-up cadences (Day 1, Day 5, Day 12) and ensure all activity is logged in the CRM.
  • Progress qualified leads through to discovery conversations and support deal closure alongside the Sales Director and senior team members.

Data & Pipeline Building

  • Maintain a clean, segmented sponsor database categorised by vertical, deal size, geography, and pipeline stage.
  • Source and validate contact information, decision-maker mapping, and intelligence on recent brand activity (product launches, fundraising rounds, marketing campaigns) to support contextual outreach.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and provide regular updates to the Sales Director and Partnerships leadership.

Sales Automation & Workflow Design

  • Build and maintain automated outbound sequences, including email warm-up infrastructure, sequencing platforms, and CRM integrations.
  • Support the design of the end-to-end sponsorship sales workflow, spanning lead capture, qualification, quotation, contracting, onboarding, and renewal.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and propose automation solutions where appropriate.
  • Operate existing partnership tools (sponsorship calculator, lead capture forms, CRM) and evaluate additional platforms as required.

Inbound Channels

  • Contribute to the development of inbound lead generation channels to diversify the sponsorship pipeline and reduce reliance on outbound activity.
  • Implement lead capture mechanisms across BMG’s website, podcast show notes, social channels, and newsletter properties.
  • Support the creation of sponsor-facing marketing collateral, including media kits, one-page summaries, case studies, rate cards, and the sponsorship landing page experience.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience: One to two years in sales, business development, partnerships, account management, or executive/administrative support, ideally within media, advertising, wellness, or technology.
  • Communication: Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and audience-appropriate correspondence.
  • Organisation: A highly structured, detail-oriented approach to calendar, pipeline, and task management, with strong follow-through.
  • Technical aptitude: Confidence working with CRM platforms, email sequencing tools, spreadsheets, and workflow automation software.
  • Tools: A working understanding of HubSpot, Apollo, Google Workspace and calendar tools, Claude, ChatGPT, and Canva.
  • Initiative: Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in a high-growth, remote environment and to develop processes where none currently exist.
  • Remote readiness: A reliable home working setup and the flexibility to maintain a consistent daily overlap with the team’s US and Gulf time zones.
  • Sector interest: A genuine interest in the wellness, health, media, or creator economy sectors.

Desirable Attributes

  • Prior experience as an executive assistant, sales coordinator, or partnerships associate.
  • Exposure to podcast sponsorships, influencer partnerships, or experiential and event-based sales.
  • An established professional network within the wellness, consumer packaged goods, or health technology sectors.

Location

Remote, preferably based in the Philippines or Pakistan.

Schedule

Full time, Monday to Friday. Core hours will include a consistent daily overlap with the team’s US and Gulf working hours, confirmed on hire.

Terms

  • Three-month probationary period, with the role reviewed at the end of probation.
  • Two weeks PTO vacation.
  • Office closed for New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and the week between Christmas and New Year’s.
  • Employment is on an at-will basis.
