Design Engineer

Company Description

Amusement Engineering is a provider of concept design, development, risk assessment, documentation services, and analysis in the field of amusement engineering. They offer services such as design and development services, including risk assessment, structural analysis and design documentation for ride manufacturers and suppliers, as well as third-party design review, assessment of conformity and ride functional testing.

Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Design Engineer working for or with Amusement Engineering. The Design Engineer will be responsible for tasks including concept and detailed design work, of machined and welded and assemblies, in the amusement field (specifically, for a transportable fairground ride project).

The contract is the duration of a project (9-12 months) with the opportunity to extend for further projects should a partnership be advantageous to both sides.

Qualifications

• Proven Design Engineering and Product Design skills
• Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills, especially with Inventor and Autodesk suite of products
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Ability or prioritize multiple tasks efficiently and stay focused under pressure
• Proven Experience in technical problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in the amusement industry an advantage
