The Role We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Poker Country Manager to drive WPT Global's operations and growth initiatives in Croatia. This is a pivotal, remote opportunity to significantly contribute to our market presence, develop and execute strategic initiatives, and ensure WPT Global thrives within the Croatian poker landscape. You will be instrumental in our Croatian business, focusing on strategy, regulatory adherence, marketing, and business development. Requirements

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for WPT Global's poker business in Croatia, aligning with our global objectives and adapting to local market nuances
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and initiatives to significantly grow our player base and revenue within the Croatian market
• Ensure compliance with all Croatian gaming and regulatory requirements, working closely with our legal and compliance teams
• Oversee tailored marketing campaigns for Croatian audiences, boosting WPT Global's brand visibility and player engagement
• Forge and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local payment providers, media partners, and industry influencers across Croatia
• Contribute to the Croatian poker budget planning, forecasting revenue, and achieving profitability targets
• Provide critical market insights and feedback to our global product development teams, ensuring our offerings meet the unique needs of Croatian players
• Champion an exceptional player experience for Croatian users, prioritising customer satisfaction and retention

What You Bring To The Table

• Extensive experience (5+ years preferred) in the online poker industry, with deep knowledge of player behaviour, competitive dynamics, and market growth strategies
• Comprehensive understanding of the Croatian gaming market, including regulatory frameworks, player preferences, and regional nuances
• Proven track record driving strategic initiatives and achieving ambitious business outcomes
• Strong business development and negotiation skills with the capability to secure beneficial partnerships
• Expertise in developing effective marketing strategies specifically tailored to online poker audiences
• A proactive, results-oriented mindset, committed to exceeding performance targets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels
• Adaptability to thrive within a fast-paced, evolving industry environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Croatian
• Experience engaging with local regulatory bodies and authorities (e.g., Ministry of Finance, Croatian Gambling Authority)
• Passion for poker and active involvement in the poker community
