Job Summary The Senior Business Operations Partner plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic insight across partnered business units. Acting as a trusted advisor to delivery and functional leaders, this role combines strong analytical acumen with the ability to influence without direct authority. The Senior Business Operations Partner will help optimize staffing, financial forecasting and recognition, profitability, and utilization performance while advancing business insights and operational maturity across the organization. Job Responsibilities And SkillsOperational Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain team staffing models and forecasting scenarios to ensure alignment between business demand and resourcing capacity (inclusive of shared service resources).
- Partner with delivery leaders to anticipate shifts in project mix, staffing needs, and revenue impact.
Financial & Revenue Management
- Ensure holistic revenue recognition and pipeline forecasting and management as well as leading insight generation and recommendation development.
- Provide margin and profitability analyses by client, project type, and service line; recommend actions to improve overall financial performance.
- Conduct willingness-to-pay and pricing analysis to support strategic pricing and service packaging decisions.
Performance Management
- Drive utilization performance by providing data-driven insights, actionable recommendations, and impact analyses to improve resource efficiency.
- Support business unit leaders and their direct reports in understanding and acting on key financial and operational metrics.
Systems & Process Optimization
- Identify and advocate for system enhancements and process improvements that address business unit–specific and firm-wide operational gaps.
- Collaborate with FP&A, IT, and operational systems teams to align tools and data with business needs.
Business Intelligence & Collaboration
- Serve as the operational liaison with FP&A, ensuring integrated financial and operational insights.
- Translate data into business narratives and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
Leadership Enablement & Education
- Guide delivery leaders to enhance their understanding of business dynamics, financial levers, and operational implications.
- Act as a change management agent, reinforcing adoption of new processes, systems, and behaviors.
Strategic & Special Projects
- Lead and execute cross-functional, high-impact projects, such as system implementations or migrations, cost benchmarking, process redesign, and organizational optimization initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Highly analytical, with demonstrated experience in modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- 4+ years of experience in professional services, agency, consulting, or related industries required.
- Strong business acumen with understanding of project profitability, utilization, and pricing principles.
- Proven influence and partnership skills — able to guide senior stakeholders without formal authority.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities; capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with evolving priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
