Now, we’re looking for a world-class Director of Sales to take us to the next level.
About the Role:
We are seeking an elite Director of Sales to help scale and optimize our high-performance sales team. There will be a two-phased approach to doing this:
- Phase One: Prove Your Expertise and Close Deals
In Phase One, you’ll dive straight into closing deals and showcasing your sales expertise. You’ll take on sales calls, master our processes, and prove your ability to consistently drive results. Your primary focus will be on building your credibility with the team and setting a strong foundation for success. At the same time, you’ll learn how our entire acquisition system currently works, and map out a master plan for overall team performance improvements and scale. You’ll be mentored by our CEO and have access to all the tools, tech, and training resources to ensure your success. The goal for Phase One will be for you to leverage your experience, close deals, and lay the groundwork for building an exceptional team. The expectation is that Phase One would last 2-3 months.
- Phase Two: Step Into a Leadership Role
Once you’ve proven your ability to close deals and lead by example, Phase Two will be your opportunity to step into a leadership role and take ownership of the entire sales organization. You’ll be responsible for creating and managing a high-performance culture, and refining processes to maximize efficiency and growth. You’ll have the autonomy to build, lead, and scale a powerful sales operation—turning your team into a dominant force in the market. This is your chance to take charge and elevate the business to new heights. At this point you’ll also become part of the company’s executive team, alongside our CEO, VP of Ops and Director of Marketing.
This is a high-impact, high-reward role with $500K OTE (base + commission), where you’ll have full ownership over sales leadership and the ability to drive aggressive revenue growth. Our company has an abundance of qualified leads through exceptional marketing efforts and a very strong fulfillment engine. Your job will be to bring sales up to the same elite level.
The key responsibilities are listed below, but if there was one word to describe the perfect candidate it would be PROACTIVE.
We’re looking for someone with experience in educating and guiding prospects, helping them navigate relatively complex solutions that they may not be familiar with. You should be comfortable leading sales conversations that challenge assumptions and encourage new ways of thinking. Ideally, you have experience selling and building sales teams that engage prospects thoughtfully throughout the closing process, using approaches similar to The Challenger Sale methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit & Train: Identify and hire top-tier sales reps, setters, and sales managers to build an elite team from scratch.
- Develop Sales Process: Create, refine, and optimize a high-performance sales process that drives conversion and maximizes revenue.
- Manage & Scale: Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to exceed KPIs and revenue targets.
- Integration & Culture Building: Seamlessly merge the new team with our existing high-performing salesforce, instilling a winning culture that thrives on accountability, execution, and results.
- Ability To Close: You must be able to “walk the walk” and operate as a top performer on the sales team in order to build respect and credibility across the team.
- Performance Optimization: Implement data-driven sales strategies, track performance metrics, and continuously refine processes to improve close rates, pipeline velocity, and overall sales efficiency.
- Compensation & Incentives: Design a commission and incentive structure that attracts and retains A-players while aligning with company revenue goals.
- High-Level Strategy: Work closely with leadership to align sales initiatives with company growth objectives, ensuring we scale efficiently and profitably.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven Sales Leadership: Experience building and managing sales teams selling relatively complex, solution-based, consulting services.
- Track Record of Success: Must have directly led teams that have generated at the very least $15M+ in annual revenue with a high-performance sales culture.
- Elite Closer Background: Personal sales experience with a history of consistently closing $1M+ annually. You should be able to sell at the highest level.
- Process-Oriented Leader: Ability to implement scalable, repeatable sales processes that drive results across a large team.
- Recruiting & Hiring Expertise: A track record of identifying and onboarding top talent, especially in high-ticket sales.
- Cultural Architect: Skilled at building a strong, winning culture that drives motivation, accountability, and long-term success.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to align sales with overall business goals and execute at both a tactical and strategic level.
- Relentless Drive: You thrive in high-performance environments and have an obsession with growth, optimization, and results.
