The Role
This role is perfect for someone who:
- Thinks visually first (layouts, spacing, typography freak, and worships brand bibles)
- Is deeply comfortable managing multiple client accounts at once
- Thrives in a fast-moving agency environment
- Can execute quickly without sacrificing quality
- Is an absolute Canva power user (templates, brand kits, animation, layout systems)
You’ll be responsible for bringing client strategies to life through beautifully designed, on-brand social content, while keeping timelines tight and communication clear.
Overview of the Social Media Manager Role
- Location: United States, Remote (Must be available for client communications during core business hours)
- Time Commitment: Full-Time, Hourly (After a 90 Day Performance review, move to full-time exempt)
- Compensation: $25-$27/hr, 40 hrs a week. Based on Experience.
- Status: Non-exempt (W2 employee)

What You’ll DoDesign-Led Content Creation
- Design high-quality static posts, carousels, and story graphics in Canva (daily)
- Adapt brand kits across multiple clients while maintaining consistency
- Turn rough concepts, captions, or direction into polished visuals quickly
- Create reusable Canva templates for efficiency and scale
Multi-Client Account Management
- Manage content calendars for multiple hospitality clients simultaneously
- Balance varying brand voices, aesthetics, and priorities without confusion
- Collaborate closely with strategists, photographers, and leadership
- Stay organized across platforms, deadlines, and deliverables
Speed + Execution
- Turn around content quickly, sometimes same-day or next-day
- Make real-time updates based on feedback, trends, or performance
- Jump on opportunities without needing excessive direction
- Know when “perfect” isn’t necessary, and when it is
Platform Awareness
- Design content specifically for Instagram (Reels, Carousels, Stories), Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Understand what visually performs well on each platform
- Stay current on design and social trends (without chasing every one)
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of social media management experience (agency or in-house).
- Industry experience in restaurant/hotel marketing is a HIGHLY preferred!
- Strong copywriting skills: creative, engaging, and strategic (without AI dependency - though we do allow AI 🤖)
- Are expert-level in Canva (this is non-negotiable)(+ Adobe Suite is an added bonus).
- Experience using Asana or similar project management tools.
- Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Loomly, Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
- Ability to execute quickly and efficiently—without sacrificing quality (our clients love us for many reasons, but timeliness may be top of list!)
- Knowledge of paid social strategies, including post boosting and Meta ad campaigns.
