Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Project Assistant. The Project Assistant will support project management processes by coordinating schedules, tracking progress, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring timely communication across teams. Key responsibilities include preparing reports, organizing meetings, managing project resources, and assisting in the successful execution of project goals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be a vital part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing project tasks.
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, meeting minutes, and action items.
- Track project progress, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to facilitate communication.
- Support budget tracking, procurement, and resource allocation under supervision.
- Prepare presentations, status reports, and dashboards for management and clients.
- Help organize project meetings, workshops, and events, including scheduling and logistics.
- Assist in risk identification, reporting, and mitigation tracking.
- Support the adoption and use of project management tools and platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or administrative support (preferred).
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of budgeting and financial tracking.
- Familiarity with data analysis or reporting tools.
- Knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
