Robert Half’s enterprise client is seeking a highly capable Program Manager for a 100% remote 3-month contract with a high likelihood of extending and potential to convert to full-time. This role will support a high-impact, complex systems migration and modernization initiative. Will report directly to the lead Program Manager and play a critical part in driving execution across multiple workstreams during a period of significant organizational change.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. You’ll help maintain program momentum, reduce execution risk, and support change adoption across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ramp Up Quickly: Understand legacy systems, migration plans, and integration points to contribute meaningfully to technical discussions and planning.
- Data-Driven Insight: Analyze current vs. future-state systems to inform migration strategy, identify risks, and support decision-making.
- Program Execution: Coordinate end-to-end migration activities including data validation, testing, cutover readiness, and post-launch support.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Track deliverables, manage timelines, and ensure alignment across teams and time zones.
- Change Management: Support communications, build change champion networks, and monitor user adoption risks.
- Executive Communication: Prepare clear, concise updates, meeting notes, and documentation of decisions, risks, and open questions.
- Operational Support: Act as a secondary point of contact to remove blockers and keep workstreams moving forward.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional programs.
- 2+ years supporting Agile teams and practices.
- Strong foundation in project management best practices (risk management, WBS, stakeholder engagement, etc.).
- Proven ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and drive results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with people systems and operations teams.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with GitHub, Miro, and ticketing systems is a strong plus.
- Background in business analysis is highly desirable.

- You’re comfortable working from whiteboards, building process maps, roadmaps, and timelines from scratch.
