We're looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to help us solve the toughest problems in our global fintech. We need your expertise to work with our Technology and Operations teams to help build and deliver the system that powers efficient and secure payment operations in Australia. - Leading and executing core projects to improve payments operations for our customers
- Building solid relationships with product teams and banking partners
- Exploring and defining which projects the team should prioritise, and setting a timeline to reach goals quickly
- Identifying new features to provide a seamless customer experience
- Leading the resolution of complex cases related to payments processing
- Providing expertise for non-BAU payment related issues escalated by customers or other teams
- Ensuring compliance with internal operating procedures and regulatory requirements
- Providing high-quality and independent feedback on payments service risks
What You'll Need
- A STEM degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in fintech
- Fluency in English with excellent communication and writing skills
- A solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects
- A magic skill to break complex problems into smaller ones and to enjoy working with data
Nice to have
- SQL or Python skills
- A solid understanding of Australian payments systems and financial regulations
- Experience in risk assessment, fraud prevention, and compliance in payments processing
