Senior BI Data Analyst (Product)

pawaTech is looking for a Senior BI Data Analyst (Product) to join our Business Intelligence team, with a strong focus on our Casino product. In this role, you will help turn data into meaningful insights that support product decisions. From understanding player behaviour and profitability to analysing feature performance and customer journeys, your work will help shape the future of our Casino product.

You will partner with stakeholders across the business, identify opportunities for improvement, build reports and dashboards, and ensure our teams have the data they need to make informed decisions. What you’ll be doing:

• Analysing player behaviour, game performance, profitability, and customer engagement across our Product (Casino) to identify trends and opportunities;
• Building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualisations that support product and business decision-making;
• Performing ad hoc analysis to answer business questions and evaluating the performance of games, features, and promotions;
• Developing and improving product metrics, KPIs, and analytical reporting to help drive the growth of our Casino product;
• Working closely with different teams to understand reporting requirements and ensuring the availability of accurate and meaningful data;
• Contributing to the development of analytical datasets, reporting structures, and ETL processes;
• Validating data quality and helping ensure the accuracy and consistency of reporting;
• Presenting analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Proactively suggesting new metrics and analytical approaches that support business growth.

What makes you a great candidate:

• At least 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Product Analytics, Data Analytics, or a similar role;
• Experience working with Casino or iGaming products in a start-up or scale-up environment;
• Strong SQL skills with experience working with large and complex datasets;
• Experience using Python for data analysis;
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Redash, Power BI, or similar platforms;
• Experience working with cloud-based analytical platforms such as BigQuery or Google Cloud Platform;
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights and recommendations;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence discussing data with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Comfortable working with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and analytical solutions;
• Ability to work independently, proactively suggest improvements, and thrive in a fast-paced, flat organisation.

• Hands-on experience with ClickHouse;
• Experience working with Airflow or Google Cloud Run;
• Experience building product and business dashboards from large datasets.
