ParkingBuddy is a software platform that enables private parking lot owners to accept paid parking through digital payments. Lot owners will be provided signage with QR codes that drivers scan to pay for parking, removing the need for attendants, cash handling, or hardware.
The platform is used by small businesses, churches, property managers, and other private lot operators.
About the Role
We are building a team of early Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to support outbound sales efforts. This role focuses on sourcing and qualifying new opportunities through cold outreach and booking demos with qualified prospects.
Responsibilities
- Source and contact prospects through cold outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, in-person if applicable)
- Identify and reach decision-makers for private parking lots
- Tailor outreach based on the prospect’s business and use case
- Qualify interested prospects and book demos
- Follow up consistently across channels
- Track outreach and results using provided CRM templates
- Maintain at least one new account closed per month to remain active
Prospects include small business owners, churches and nonprofits, property managers, and other private lot operators.
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in outbound sales or business development
- Prior exposure to full cold outbound cycles preferred
- Comfortable sourcing your own leads and working cold
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- All applications are reviewed by a human, regardless of experience level.
Compensation
- Uncapped revenue-share % MRR on accounts sourced by you
- Recurring commissions tied to active accounts (not one-time payouts)
- Earnings vary based on individual performance and activity level
