About the Role

MaQasid Angel is seeking a talented Crypto Market Research Analyst to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position based in Australia, offering the opportunity to shape investment strategies and market insights in the rapidly evolving digital assets landscape.

As our Crypto Market Research Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting deep-dive research into cryptocurrency markets, identifying emerging trends, and providing actionable intelligence that drives our investment decisions. You'll work at the intersection of on-chain data, market dynamics, and fundamental analysis to deliver comprehensive research reports and market theses.

Compensation

AUD $110,000 - $143,000 per annum, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis across major cryptocurrencies, DeFi protocols, and emerging blockchain ecosystems
• Develop and articulate clear investment theses and market narratives based on fundamental and technical analysis
• Monitor and analyze trading activity across centralized exchanges (CEX) and decentralized exchanges (DEX)
• Identify key market drivers, catalysts, and risk factors that influence crypto asset valuations
• Produce high-quality written research reports, market commentary, and investment recommendations
• Track on-chain metrics, liquidity flows, and market microstructure across multiple protocols
• Present findings and insights to internal stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
• Stay ahead of regulatory developments, technological innovations, and macro trends affecting digital assets

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in cryptocurrency market research with a demonstrable track record of accurate market analysis
• Hands-on experience working with both centralized exchanges (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, etc.) and decentralized exchanges (Uniswap, Curve, dYdX, etc.)
• Strong portfolio of published research, market theses, or analytical work in the crypto space (please provide samples or links)
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology, tokenomics, and crypto market dynamics
• Ability to identify and articulate key market drivers, narratives, and investment themes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
