The Opportunity:

LivAway Suites is a growing extended-stay hotel brand building something different in hospitality. With purpose-built properties, an integrated developer-operator model, and a culture that rewards ownership thinking over corporate autopilot.

We're hiring a Director of Marketing to lead brand strategy, demand generation, and marketing operations across a multi-property portfolio, with more openings in the pipeline. this role reports directly to the CEO and will collaborate with Revenue Management, Brand Sales, and Operations.

This is not a maintenance role. You'll help us build our marketing engine--the systems, analytics, and brand narrative--for a company in active growth mode.

What you'll own:Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and execute annual and seasonal marketing plans tied to portfolio and property-level goals.
  • Build a scalable, multi-location marketing strategy that balances brand consistency with local market customization.
  • Analyze competitive activity, guest insights, demand drivers, and market dynamics to inform positioning and spend.
  • Prepare and present marketing performance reports and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Brand, Content, & Campaigns:

  • Lead LivAway's brand storytelling across guest-facing, partner-facing, and internal channels.
  • Oversee multi-channel campaigns spanning digital, social, print, PR, and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage content creation. Photography, videography, copywriting, and brand asset development.
  • Own our membership program (SavAway), ensuring it aligns with brand positioning and revenue goals.
  • Coordinate marketing support for new property openings, including media outreach and launch campaigns.

Digital Marketing & Distribution:

  • Own the LivAway Suites website, SEO/SEM strategy, and paid media across digital and social channels.
  • Manage OTA relationships, including setup, rate parity, content accuracy, ranking optimization, and promotional strategy.
  • Lead social media strategy, content planning, publishing cadence, and engagement management.
  • Oversee reputation management and ensure response compliance across all public review platforms.
  • Optimize distribution costs, commissions, and channel mix to maximize profitability.

Analytics & Performance:

  • Build and maintain dashboards tracking direct booking %, conversion rates, acquisition cost, campaign ROI, and channel mix.
  • Report key marketing KPIs weekly, monthly, and quarterly with structured executive summaries.
  • Translate performance data into actionable optimization recommendations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Balance B2C and B2B marketing strategies across extended stay, corporate, healthcare, construction, and group segments.
  • Partner with Revenue Management to align campaigns with rate strategy, occupancy targets, and distribution plans.
  • Work with Ops and property GMs to support on-property activations and local market initiatives
  • Manage marketing budgets with disciplined spend, measurable ROI, and organized vendor/contract records.

What you'll bring:

  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience in consumer-facing industries (direct hospitality experience is not required — we value demand generation, brand-building, and conversion expertise across sectors)
  • Strong analytical capabilities — comfortable interpreting campaign analytics, market data, and performance metrics to drive strategy
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and distribution channel management
  • Hands-on creative production skills — you can develop, modify, and manage marketing assets without waiting on an agency for every deliverable
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a growing portfolio
  • A bias toward ownership and execution — you build systems, not slide decks
