Okay, enough preamble: we're looking for a creative, funny, and personable Content Creator & Social Generalist to grow our social following, create content for IG & TikTok, and build genuine relationships with our audience through social and community platforms.

LeNOSE was founded by a team of 4 very hands-on leaders. You'll be our very 1st employee, so we’re looking for someone who wants to make an impact as we build our brand into a fragrance sensation unlike anything the world has ever seen. If you’ve not worked in a start-up before, it’s a wild ride, but we promise to keep it fun (we all know from experience that you can’t make fun work if your coworkers/bosses are making you miserable).

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and conversation. The ideal hire will feel comfortable coming up with buzzy ideas, shooting and editing 5-10 shortform videos a week, and jumping into a comment section to make a joke.

This is a high-ownership role with tons of creative latitude and unlimited room for growth. Our goal is to build the most creative brand in the world, and if that sounds like a cool challenge to you, we’d love to talk.

RESPONSIBILITIES

CONTENT CREATION

  • Produce compelling short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)
  • Create/design on-brand assets using CapCut, Figma & Adobe (or others)
  • Write compelling copy and comments tailored to LeNOSE brand voice
  • Occasionally collaborate with external creators to make content
  • Workshop ideas and finished content with CBO/CMO, working through feedback and making adjustments when needed

SOCIAL STRATEGY

  • Collaborate with the CMO & CBO to create an evolving social engagement and content strategy
  • Develop and execute channel strategies across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Monitor trends, find joy in cultural moments, and understand platform algorithm changes
  • Report on KPIs — reach, engagement rate, follower growth, and conversions

COMMUNITY

  • Engage daily with comments, DMs, mentions, and community groups
  • Identify and nurture brand advocates and superfans
  • Manage online community spaces (TYB, TikTok, IG)
  • Surface community insights to inform product and marketing decisions
  • Gather, track, and post UGC and review content

PARTNERSHIPS & GROWTH

  • Coordinate paid social campaigns in collaboration with the CMO
  • Identify influencer and creator partnerships
  • Help plan and execute social activations around product launches, events & campaigns
  • Test and iterate on ad formats, hooks, and posting cadences

ADMIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 1-2 hours of weekly calls and brainstorms, available as-needed for quick chats
  • Weekly 30 min check-ins with manager
  • Schedule and post content to LeNOSE social channels
  • Weekly reports sent to founders
  • Willingness to flex and plan for availability outside of a traditional 9-5, understanding that the nature of a social media job requires weekend or holiday work
  • Asset and file management
  • Communication with creators

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

MUST-HAVES

  • Proven portfolio of relevant social content across TikTok & IG
  • Ability to create funny and engaging visual content independently
  • A ravenous love for culture, trends, and social media
  • Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)
  • Ability to adapt, learn, and revise on the fly.
  • Experience with social analytics tools (Sprout, Hootsuite, native analytics, etc.)
  • Excellent judgment in brand voice, tone, and community moderation
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines while making space for spontaneous ideas
  • Desire to connect with our growing community
  • Flexible, test-and-learn approach. Because this is a startup, there will undoubtedly be random tasks we ask you to do that are not in this job description, and we’re looking for someone who’s cool with that

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Graphic design skills
  • Experience in a fast-growing startup or consumer brand
  • Familiarity with paid social advertising fundamentals
  • Experience building or scaling online communities from scratch
  • Background in influencer marketing or creator partnerships
  • Photography skills or comfort on camera as a brand face
  • Strong copywriting skills with a distinct, adaptable voice
  • Proven portfolio of social content across Youtube

INTERVIEW PROCESS

  • Before the interview process, we’ll review your portfolio of content.
  • 1st Round: Meet with the Chief Brand/Creative Officer and the Chief Marketing Officer
  • 2nd Round: Meet with the CEO and CFO
  • Assignment: Create 3 pieces of content based on very specific brief

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

30 DAYS

Create a month’s worth of social content, help establish a posting cadence, engage with the community, and develop a deep understanding of our brand, our mission, and our community. Execute social strategy, workshopping all content with CBO & CMO to align on aesthetic, voice, and tone.

90 DAYS

Help to establish LeNOSE as one of the best brands on social media and help coordinate our brand launch across social media. Grow channels and overall brand awareness.

6 MONTHS

Build a thriving community and a super engaged social following who can’t get enough of our content. Identify opportunities for partnerships, growth, and tweak strategy to evolve with culture. Approvals on overall concepts and strategy, but you’re able to make and post content autonomously with weekly reports.
