This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Director, People Business Partner based in United States. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced HR executive to partner with senior leaders and shape people strategies that enable business growth. The role focuses on organizational transformation, leadership development, workforce planning, and building a high-performing culture. You will serve as a trusted advisor to executives, helping align talent priorities with evolving business objectives. The position requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, business acumen, and deep expertise in organizational effectiveness. Accountabilities The Sr. Director, People Business Partner will act as a key strategic advisor to executive leadership, driving initiatives that connect organizational needs with effective people strategies. This role will oversee complex HR programs, improve organizational effectiveness, and support leadership teams in building a scalable, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.

  • Partner with executive leaders to design and execute people strategies aligned with business goals and organizational growth.
  • Lead organizational design, workforce planning, transformation initiatives, and operating model improvements.
  • Coach senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, talent management, change leadership, and team development.
  • Develop and implement talent strategies including succession planning, leadership development, and capability building.
  • Use workforce analytics and people insights to guide strategic decisions and improve organizational performance.
  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters while balancing business priorities, employee experience, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and People Operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance.
  • Manage and support a team of People Business Partners and People professionals.

Requirements The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in strategic HR leadership, executive partnership, and organizational transformation. They should have a proven ability to influence leaders, manage complex initiatives, and use data-driven insights to support business decisions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience supporting executive leadership teams as a strategic People Business Partner.
  • Demonstrated expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and change management.
  • Strong experience developing and executing people strategies in complex, fast-growing environments.
  • Excellent executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how people strategies drive organizational outcomes.
  • Experience using People analytics and HR technologies, including Workday, to inform decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting global teams and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives is a plus.
  • HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, Prosci, or similar credentials are advantageous.
