- Provide thought leadership and strategic insights to client leaders on people-related considerations that support and align with business objectives
- Modify and implement talent strategies for assigned client groups, and create sustained solutions to talent related opportunities and challenges
- Assist in the development of the next generation of leaders through talent management, and succession and development planning
- Ensure leaders understand the value and impact they have on increasing employee engagement to drive business results
- Implement and support company-wide employee engagement initiatives, localizing them as needed; Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Act as a liaison between the business unit and the People Team COEs to support the needs of both teams
- Provide guidance and input on business unit organizational design, restructuring and workforce planning, including communications and change management support
- Participate in planning and decision-making processes with the talent acquisition team to align recruitment goals with business needs; collaborate with the team to assess effectiveness of recruitment strategies and suggest alternatives as necessary
- In partnership with Finance, support client leaders in headcount and people-related budget adherence
- Act as liaison between business leadership and Talent Acquisition teams in the recruitment process; providing guidance and consultation on hiring decisions and offers, in partnership with the Compensation team where needed.
- Partner with the Employee Relations team to provide performance management guidance to managers, including coaching, counseling, career development, performance improvement plans, and as needed, decisions to terminate employment
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the People Operations Team to develop solutions, programs and policies; provide reporting on HR metrics to client leaders
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
What You’ll Need to SucceedWe’re looking for someone who:
- Has 7+ years of Human Resources generalist experience, in a Business Partner, HR Management or similar role
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in HR or related fields
- Is able to travel up to 10-15%
Your experience should include some or all of the following:
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including talent acquisition, talent development, compensation practices, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, and federal and state respective employment laws
- Experience with one or more HRIS systems, experience with UKG/UltiPro a plus
- Successful track record of working and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced and changing environment that is results oriented and collaborative
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with leaders
- Skilled at simultaneously managing both strategic initiatives and the execution of day-to-day deliverables
- Intermediate to advanced MS office skills, including PowerPoint
Additionally, you may have:
- Experience in a software or tech firm
- PHR or SPHR certifications
