What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Serve as a central link of communication between the employer, patients, medical staff, and the general public
• Answer calls in a high-volume environment within a 24/7 department
• Respond to information and messaging requests for eight hospitals and 1200 healthcare practitioners
• Provide excellent customer service while making appropriate decisions and problem-solving related to patient care
• Maintain positive communication and empathy while managing difficult and emotional situations

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of three years of customer service experience in a multi-tasking environment such as a call center, physician’s office, or hospitality/service industry
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong keyboarding and computer skills
• Ability to remain calm under stress and display empathy in communications

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Previous experience in a call center environment
• Bilingual skills are a plus
