Hiredbuddy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our remote team. In this entry-level role, you will support multiple marketing initiatives, helping to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. You will work closely with senior marketers and cross-functional teams to execute campaigns, create compelling content, and analyze performance data. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns across email, social media, and paid channels (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Create and curate content for blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, and marketing collateral using tools like Canva, WordPress, and Mailchimp.
- Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts via Hootsuite or Buffer, engaging with followers, and tracking community feedback.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor trends, and opportunities for growth.
- Support SEO efforts by performing keyword research, optimizing on-page content, and assisting with link-building activities.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance using Google Analytics and social media analytics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain and update marketing databases and CRM records in tools like HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
- Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and partners as needed.
- Assist with event planning, webinars, and virtual conferences, including promotion and post-event follow-up.
- Provide administrative support for marketing projects, including scheduling, documentation, and budget tracking.
What We Look For
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for grammar and brand voice.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Mailchimp, and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with CRM or marketing automation is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
