The role:

As a Consultant – Experience & Growth, you’ll support health workers through their work journey, helping them find job opportunities that match their skills, preferences, and goals. This isn’t a traditional recruitment role—there’s no cold calling or sales targets. Instead, you’ll focus on building relationships, providing career advice, and matchmaking health workers to roles with the support of our automations.

This role would suit:

  • Recent graduates eager to break into the tech, healthcare, or startup world
  • Healthcare recruiters looking for a meaningful role where they can shape the future of the industry

What You Will Do:

  • Match opportunities: Match health workers to roles that fit their preferences and skill level with the help of our automations 
  • Onboarding: Provide a smooth onboarding experience for new locums and help health workers new to locum work understand the process and set realistic goals/expectations.
  • Provide career support: Advise health workers on job roles that align with their skills, preferences, and career goals.
  • Assist with credentials: Help health workers troubleshoot paperwork or certification issues.

  • Innovation / Product Development: Suggest and help implement ideas to streamline workflows. What should be the next Go Locum feature?
  • Enhance the locum experience: Identify ways to improve outcomes for both health workers and hospitals.
  • Be a brand advocate: Represent Go Locum at relevant startup and healthcare events.
  • Data insights: Analyse trends and business data to help inform team decisions.
  • Content creation: Write helpful resources and articles for health workers in the locum community.

What you won't be doing:

  • Cold calling or sales outreach
  • Meeting recruitment targets or sales KPIs

Requirements:

  • Interest in healthcare, tech, or startups
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and independent work
  • Basic tech skills—experience with tools like Google Sheets, Slack, or project management apps is a plus
