We areglobboard – an Austrian Marketing, Sales & Hospitality agency founded in 2019, now growing into Portugal.
We focus on professional management of tourist holiday accommodation, virtual reception services, and marketing & sales management for hotels, resorts and selected businesses across various sectors.

Your Role
You'll work closely with the founder and CEO, supporting the build-up of globboard across both Portugal and Austria. This means you're involved in marketing, operations and property management support – sometimes all in the same day. You help shape internal processes, keep things running smoothly and bring creative energy to our content and campaigns.
What you'll actually be doingMarketing & Social Media
- Create and manage content for Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook – across globboard's accounts in Austria and Portugal
- Set up, run and analyse paid campaigns – Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads
- Design visuals using Canva – posts, stories, ads, presentations
- Content planning and editorial calendar management
- Competitor and trend research for content ideas
- Community management – responding to comments and messages
- Support newsletter creation and client mailings
- Support the creation of pitch decks and client presentations
- Help maintain and update our website (WordPress basics)
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT and similar) to work smarter and faster
Marketing & Sales Management Support
- Support the implementation of modern digital tools and technologies for clients
- Assist with the transition and onboarding of new systems and processes at client level
- Research and evaluate new tools, platforms and automation solutions
Operations & Admin
- Organisational and administrative support for the CEO – across Austria and Portugal
- Research and prepare information for the CEO (suppliers, partners, tools, market data)
- Manage and maintain internal filing systems and documentation
- Support internal processes, reporting and coordination between Austria and Portugal
- Implement new automation processes within the company
- Help with client communication and onboarding materials
Property Management Support
- Guest communication using predefined templates and standards
- Process booking requests and keep availability calendars up to date
- Update pricing lists and collect guest reviews for responses
- Coordinate with local service partners (cleaning, maintenance, key handover)
- Monitor and flag issues with listings on Airbnb, Booking.com and similar platforms
- Support the setup of new properties in our management system
MUST HAVE
– 2–3 years experience in marketing, social media and operations
– English: fluent – mandatory
– German: C1 minimum, native speaker preferred – mandatory (required for Austrian operations)
– Portuguese: strongly preferred but not mandatory
– Confident with Canva, Meta Ads, AI tools (ChatGPT, etc.), CRM systems and automation processes
– Tech-savvy, fast learner, highly self-organised
– Based in Lisbon area to Algarve (not northern Portugal)
– Primary residence and tax domicile in Portugal – mandatory (required for Portuguese employment contract)
– Willingness to travel to Lisbon for team meetings (planned quarterly)
GOOD TO KNOW
– Part-time (20 hrs/week) with clear option for full-time as we grow
– Fixed-term 6 months, 1 month trial period
– Fixed salary according to Portuguese collective agreement
– Fully remote – with quarterly team meetings in Lisbon
