Role Overview

We’re seeking a Director of Business Development to spearhead our growth through strategic partnerships and high-value sales execution. This role is ideal for a sales leader who thrives on building relationships, managing enterprise accounts, and driving revenue in a fast-moving environment.

You will work directly with leadership to identify opportunities, close deals, and expand our footprint in global mobility, education, immigration services, and background screening.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnership Development: Build, negotiate, and close partnerships with background screening companies, immigration law firms, universities, and corporate HR teams.
  • Sales Leadership: Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and presentations to deal structuring and closing.
  • Account Management: Nurture long-term relationships with enterprise clients to increase retention and upsell additional services.
  • Market Strategy: Identify new verticals and revenue opportunities in SaaS, HR tech, and global mobility ecosystems.
  • Sales Ops & Tools: Utilize Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) to track leads, pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to align client needs with service offerings.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record (7+ years) of B2B sales and business development, ideally in HR tech, SaaS, legal services, or global mobility.
  • Demonstrated ability to close enterprise partnerships and manage complex deal structures.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), sales enablement platforms, and data-driven selling.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable working in a growth-stage environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Existing network in background screening, immigration law, higher education, or HR tech.
  • Experience selling to legal or compliance-driven buyers.
  • Familiarity with SaaS-style recurring revenue models.
