Finance Manager

Position: Finance Manager - Global Pharmaceutical companyLocation: Denmark (fully remote role)

EPM Scientific have partnered with a multinational research-based pharmaceutical company who are specialised in products that positively impact millions of patients across the world every year.

Following continued global investment into their people, they are now seeking an Finance Manager to focus on the Nordics as they continue to grow going into 2025 - this is a rare opportunity to join of one of the most trusted names in the industry.In this role you will be responsible for the following activities:

• Ensure financial integrity and control in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark.
• Collaborate with the regional GM on commercial initiatives such as tenders and volume/cost/price analysis for new customers.
• Manage the Balance Sheet, Working Capital, and Cash Flow, including recording actuals, budgeting/forecasting, and optimizing business resources.
• Guide and coordinate external audit processes, ensuring alignment with auditors and the Finance Shared Service Center.
• Review monthly accounts prepared by the FSSC, ensuring alignment with FND submissions and support for all inter-company balances.
• Coordinate forecasts and budgets for balance sheet, cash flow, and specific P&L areas, including insurance, restructuring, bank charges, interest, property, and tax.
• Partner effectively with all stakeholders, including non-Finance, GFLT, FSSC, and international colleagues.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Significant experience in Financial Controlling roles.
• Experience with a reputable audit company.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of maximizing team performance.
• Strong business partnering, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Expertise in Cash and Working Capital Management.
• Strong English language skills
