Operating in the UK, Poland, Australia, and soon Malta, we are building a high-performing team dedicated to disrupting cross-border payments.

Our business model blends the reliability of traditional finance with the efficiency of Web3 solutions, making us a trusted partner for B2B transactions across various industries, including commodities, shipping, education, and travel.

About Us:

  • Remote-first culture with a global team of seven full-time employees, in Europe and Australia.
  • Positioned as both a competitor and partner to Ripple, integrating blockchain technology for faster, more efficient transactions.
  • Committed to regulatory excellence, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

What Sets Us Apart:

  • Innovative Payments Infrastructure – We are pioneering a stablecoin-powered payments network that enhances efficiency and reduces FX exposure for businesses worldwide.
  • Culture & Values – We foster an entrepreneurial yet risk-aware mindset, ensuring compliance remains at the core of our operations. Our mantra? No egos, no bureaucracy—just a team of highly driven professionals solving real-world financial challenges.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all regulatory and compliance matters in Australia and other key markets, including audits, reporting obligations, and regulatory filings.
  • Oversee and enhance the company’s Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) processes, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
  • Monitor transactions, investigate suspicious activities, and report findings to the relevant authorities when required.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory changes, emerging risks, and industry trends, advising leadership on necessary policy adjustments.
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, legal, and product management) to align compliance efforts with business objectives.
  • Ensure the company’s risk management frameworks comply with AFSL and AUSTRAC obligations.

Your Resources:

  • Direct access to the leadership team to drive compliance initiatives.
  • Budget and resources for compliance tools, training, and external legal support.
  • A collaborative, remote-first work environment with flexibility to shape compliance best practices.

Challenges and Rewards:

  • Challenge: Balancing compliance rigour with an agile startup environment, ensuring that regulatory frameworks evolve alongside our growing business.
  • Reward: An opportunity to lead compliance at a high-growth fintech company and shape regulatory strategies.

  • Strong knowledge of Australian financial regulations, including AUSTRAC, ASIC, and AFSL compliance.
  • Prior experience obtaining an Australian Financial Services (AFS) License through ASIC.
  • Experience in a startup or unstructured environment, with a flexible yet risk-aware mindset.
  • Familiarity with blockchain, Web3, or cross-border payments is a strong advantage.
