Head of Business Development-ESG Business

As the Business Head - ESG at Azeus, you will be responsible for the operational strategy, growth, and execution of our new ESG product. This role requires an experienced leader with a solid background in IT, preferably with exposure to ESG, who can build and scale the business from scratch in a competitive market.

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the operational strategy for the ESG product, ensuring alignment with Azeus's overall business goals
• Business Development: Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, drive go-to market strategies and establish key partnerships to fuel business growth
• Product Development: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define product requirements, oversee development, and ensure the product meets market needs
• Operational Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence
• Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to drive efficiency and meet financial objectives
• Customer Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure the product delivers exceptional value
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with launching and scaling the product
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the product adheres to relevant regulations and standards, particularly in the ESG domain

Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within the IT industry, with a focus on operations, product management, or business development. Previous experience in startups or building new business units from scratch is essential
• IT Industry Expertise: Proven track record in the IT sector, with a deep understanding of software development, market trends, and technology-driven business models
• ESG Knowledge: Understanding of ESG principles and market trends is preferred, but not mandatory
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Financial Acumen: Expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred
