Our story began with our founder—a neurosurgeon, developmental neurobiologist, and mother of three. While pursuing her PhD in neurobiology at Stanford, she researched treatments for pediatric brain cancer, sparking a deep interest in the factors that optimally develop the brain.

As a neurobiologist, she knew a baby needs crucial nutrients during their first year, when the brain doubles in size, and during the first three years, when the brain reaches 80% of its development.And as a mother, she knew that every parent needs the convenience of pre-made food for their children. But trips to the baby food aisle revealed a glaring gap in the market—most baby purees provided only 2-4 of the 16 key nutrients that research clearly identifies as essential for brain development. She ultimately created and launched Cerebelly, a baby food product that far surpassed nutrient density on the market and redefined the industry standard for clean, nourishing food for children.

What Will This Position Do?

This crucial role will develop brand campaigns and content for Cerebelly across platforms and consumer touchpoints. Content creation, curation, and sourcing will be vital to success in this role. We need a content creator that can build compelling content across a variety of platforms and weave brand storytelling throughout the customer journey.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deploy the brand’s creative strategy and content across a variety of campaigns and platforms
  • Create, edit and optimize content including graphic design, static creatives and video (including GIFs, motion graphics) for organic and paid media
  • Appropriately leverage AI tools to create, edit, and optimize creative brand content
  • Write compelling copy for brand campaigns and content
  • Create and customize content for brand emails, landing pages, social media, and other collateral
  • Curate, source, and budget external content including video, photography and lifestyle assets from freelancers, UGC creators, customer to support our creative needs
  • Keep a pulse on cultural and social media trends to ideate timely, brand-aligned content
  • Design and maintain a content library of plug-and-play templates for social, email, and ads
  • Ensure cohesive brand consistency and messaging across campaign touchpoints
  • Align content with target audience insights and campaign objectives
  • Assist with content testing to measure consumer resonance and ad performance

What are We Looking For?

This role is ideal for a content creator with a strategic brand mindset and a history of developing compelling, breakthrough campaigns to build high-growth brands. Prior consumer product experience and a strong creative portfolio are crucial. An interest or passion for children’s nutrition and organic, natural foods products a plus.

Requirements for the role include:

  • 5+ years in content strategy and creation, preferably in CPG, wellness, or lifestyle brands
  • Portfolio that demonstrates quality and range of design skills: imagery, graphics, storytelling, etc.
  • A genuine passion for creativity, culture, and storytelling
  • Deep understanding of digital content platforms and cultural trends
  • Track record of creating and deploying impactful brand campaigns across creative touchpoints
  • Excellent attention to detail, brand consistency, brand equity, grammar, and tone
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset
  • Proactive problem-solver with a willingness to test, learn, and iterate quickly
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong experience and familiarity with graphic imagery and video editing software tools
  • Strong network of creative freelancers across photography, design, video and production
  • Bachelor’s degree or creative arts degree required

This position is remote within the United States and reports directly to the Brand Marketing Director.
