Software Engineer

We are looking for a team player to join one of our eASM (external Attack Surface Management) teams. Your mission is to deliver robust, high-quality code in a continuous delivery environment. You’ll work in a small, cross-functional Agile team to design & ship features and evolve our Customer Portal.

As a Software Engineer, you are known for thinking on your feet, learning quickly, and owning a problem from discovery to resolution. You enjoy solving complex problems while contributing with new ideas and techniques, leading to the continuous improvement of the team. You enjoy close collaboration to find better ways to deliver great quality software in a high-trust Engineering culture.

We value experience in the full development lifecycle of Software Products, from designing requirements, lo-fi proof-of-concepts, code with automated testing and documentation, with a preference for sophisticated CI/CD pipelines - predictable delivery of testable & documented code that meets our product standards and customer needs.

Requirements:

• Curious and with a growth mindset. Have a passion for continuous learning, seeking out opportunities to expand your knowledge, and stretching yourself and others to achieve goals.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Four (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer building and maintaining a SaaS application.
• Two (2) years of experience maintaining, building, and optimizing REST APIs.
• Experience with Python.
• Ability to query a relational/SQL database.
• Experience with CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins) and container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience working with a team of engineers, and product owners in delivering a product to end-users.
• Responsible, team-oriented, and well-organized.
• Excellent communication skills in English - both written and spoken.

Preferred:

• Experience with Django, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, FastAPI, Flask, SQLAlchemy, Jenkins, Airflow.
• Able to own loosely defined features from technical design through completion, and deliver on commitments.
• Experience with breaking up a software monolith into microservices.
