The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR practitioner who thrives in the details &mash; building trust with managers and employees through consistent, high-quality execution across the full employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations: Handle employee relations matters with sound judgment, consistency, and compliance with policy and applicable law. Conduct thorough, objective investigations and document findings appropriately. Partner with managers on corrective action and performance improvement processes.
  • Manager Coaching & Support: Serve as a go-to resource for managers on day-to-day people questions — from delivering feedback and navigating team dynamics to handling attendance, conduct, and performance concerns. Help managers build confidence and consistency in how they lead.
  • Performance Management supports the full performance cycle: goal setting, mid-year check-ins, year-end calibration, and performance improvement plans. Ensure managers are equipped to have clear, timely conversations with their teams.
  • HR Operations manages leave of absence processes, accommodation requests, and return-to-work planning in partnership with HR Operations. Ensure data accuracy in Workday and timely completion of HR administrative processes.
  • Employee Experience: Serve as an accessible, approachable point of contact for employees. Surface trends and concerns from day-to-day interactions to inform broader HR planning.
  • Compliance & Process Consistency: Apply HR policies consistently and escalate edge cases appropriately. Stay current on employment law basics and flag potential compliance risks to senior HR partners or Employee Relations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a strategic HR Business Partner.
  • Must have prior experience working with senior directors and managers for talent strategy, employee relations, performance management, coaching leaders with compensation review, etc.
  • Must have worked with a company with at least 1000+ employees.
  • Must have Suite exp
  • Must have prior experience supporting a "to-market" or sales function company.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills working with executive to employee level individuals, excellent organization and time management skills (as days constantly change and they need to pivot priorities)
  • Ability to gain credibility quickly and build strong relationships.
  • Location doesn't matter as long as they are able to work 8-5ish PST, but the manager is flexible
  • The manager doesn't believe in being overqualified as long as the individual understands they are in the day-to-day weeds.

Salary Range: $97,760 - 1,04,000 Annually -Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
