Job Description
Posted on: May 9, 2026
Part-Time Project Manager – Content Production (Contract)
Location: Remote
Type: Contract | Part-Time (5–25 hrs/week)
Rate: $35–$37/hour
Start Date: Mid-June 2026 (Target: Week of June 15)
Duration: Q3 & Q4 2026
About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Part-Time Project Manager Contractor to support Click Safety’s content production process through the end of 2026. In this role, you’ll serve as the central point of contact across multiple vendors, keeping approximately 10 online training courses on track through development, production, and QA phases.
This is a great opportunity for a project management professional looking for flexible, meaningful part-time work in the e-learning/content space.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate handoffs between content development vendors and production vendors, ensuring smooth transitions through each phase
- Manage and maintain project schedules in Smartsheet, sharing updates across all stakeholders
- Oversee Jira ticket workflows, creating main tickets and monitoring QA and production vendor communications to track issue resolution
- Conduct weekly status calls with vendors to keep all projects progressing on schedule
- Serve as the primary point of contact across all production phases, managing extensive email correspondence
- Review and vet copy editor feedback in the Rise platform — approving or rejecting grammatical and copy edit suggestions before final course release
- Proactively flag schedule concerns, missing deliverables, or roadblocks before they become issues
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in project management, ideally within content production, e-learning, or a similar field
- Smartsheet proficiency is required — you’ll be building and maintaining schedules from day one
- Jira experience for ticket creation and workflow management
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to review copy editor feedback and make editorial approval decisions (no hands-on editing required)
- Excellent grammar and content quality instincts
- A proactive communicator who asks questions early and escalates issues before they cause delays — not someone who sits on problems
- Comfortable managing multiple simultaneous projects with shifting priorities
Schedule & Commitment
- Flexible, part-time hours: 5–25 hours per week depending on project phase (not to exceed 30 hrs/week)
- Workload will vary — expect lighter weeks between phases and heavier weeks during peak production overlap
- Weekly timecards submitted and approved by the client
Why This Role?
- Work with a focused, organized team in a structured production environment
- Gain experience across a full content production lifecycle (development → production → QA → release)
- Flexible scheduling that accommodates other commitments
- Competitive part-time rate with consistent, weekly payment
