Role Description This full-time remote Human Resources Specialist role supports the HR needs of ABC Stores’ retail and corporate teams. The specialist manages day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, employee records maintenance, and responding to HR-related inquiries. Responsibilities include assisting with policy implementation, coordinating employee benefits administration, and supporting performance and personnel management processes. The role also involves helping managers with employee relations, ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws, and preparing HR reports and documentation. The Human Resources Specialist collaborates virtually with leaders and team members to promote a positive, inclusive work environment aligned with company values. Qualifications
- Experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with the ability to support day-to-day HR operations.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and employment regulations, and experience applying them consistently across teams.
- Understanding of Employee Benefits programs and the ability to assist with benefits administration and communication.
- Background in Personnel Management, including supporting performance processes and employee relations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Experience using HRIS or similar HR systems and proficiency with standard office software tools.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and prior experience in retail or multi-location organizations.
