About LEEP
LEEP focuses on reducing lead exposure from paint. Since 2020, they've launched programs in 40 countries, completed 33 paint studies, and secured regulatory commitments in 18 countries. Their work is recognized for cost-effectiveness and impact.
Role Overview
The Program Manager will design and execute paint programs in Latin America (e.g., Mexico, Guatemala). Responsibilities include government and industry engagement, research, and strategy development. The role requires a highly motivated generalist with strong communication skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Government Engagement (30%): Build relationships with policymakers, support regulations, prepare advocacy materials.
- Industry Engagement (30%): Work with paint manufacturers to transition to lead-free production.
- Research (10%): Conduct paint studies and coordinate lab analysis.
- Strategy (10%): Design country-specific programs and refine approaches.
- Partnerships (5%): Recruit local consultants.
- Team Collaboration (15%): Participate in meetings and cross-functional projects.
Candidate Profile
- Mission-driven and resourceful
- Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese a plus)
- Ability to manage complex programs independently
- Willingness to travel 8–12 weeks annually
