Role Purpose
The Global Marketing Coordinator will join WFP’s Acquisition Team, which focuses on recruiting supporters through paid digital marketing campaigns.
This role will support marketing channel specialists in the technical management, optimization, and performance monitoring of digital advertising platforms. With mentorship from experienced digital marketing experts, the coordinator will gradually gain the skills required to independently manage high-budget advertising campaigns.
WFP’s digital-first fundraising strategy primarily uses platforms such as:
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
- Google Ads
- TikTok
- Bing
These campaigns reach hundreds of millions of people globally and support fundraising in multiple languages including English, French, Arabic, German, Korean, and Chinese.
Key Responsibilities
Advertising Platform Monitoring
- Track daily campaign performance and identify issues quickly
- Monitor data tracking tools including Meta CAPI, TikTok Events API, and Google Enhanced Conversions
- Resolve ad rejections and campaign delivery issues
- Conduct regular ad account audits and quality assurance checks
- Monitor ad credit limits, invoices, and purchase orders
Campaign Setup and Management
- Launch seasonal and emergency search advertising campaigns
- Assist with budget optimization and bidding strategies
- Update CRM-based audiences used for ad targeting
- Support the execution of global digital marketing campaigns
Optimization and Reporting
- Stay informed about updates and new features across advertising platforms
- Support A/B testing initiatives to improve campaign performance
- Prepare campaign performance reports and insights
- Document and update best practices for digital marketing operations
Collaboration and Partnerships
- Work closely with internal campaign managers and marketing specialists
- Coordinate with external partners including Meta, TikTok, and Google representatives
- Participate in strategic meetings to improve campaign performance and fundraising outcomes
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
Professional Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in digital advertising or performance marketing
- Hands-on experience with at least one advertising platform such as Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager
- Experience in a media agency environment is considered an advantage
- Previous fundraising experience is not required
Technical Skills
Candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms, including:
- Google Ads or Search Ads 360
- Meta Ads Manager
- TikTok Ads Manager
- Data visualization tools such as Tableau
- A/B testing methodologies
- Understanding of key advertising metrics and campaign performance indicators
