Description The Senior Data Analyst role will report directly to the VP of Business Intelligence to drive data-driven decisions across the organization. You'll partner with Finance, Operations, Product, and Compliance teams to analyze user behavior, payment transactions, shopping rewards, and gaming metrics. This role combines business intelligence with financial planning, operational analytics, and compliance monitoring to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities will be variable and will depend on the specific project currently being worked on, but will typically include:

• Design SQL queries, data models, and materialized views in Amazon Redshift for cross-functional analytics needs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Create dashboards tracking KPIs for finance, operations, product, and compliance teams
• Document technical processes and maintain comprehensive data documentation
• Develop financial models and forecasts to support business planning
• Build automated monitoring systems for operational efficiency and compliance
• Analyze user segments, revenue streams, and operational metrics
• Support regulatory reporting and compliance monitoring
• Lead data governance initiatives and documentation

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required Skillset

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence with a background in fintech, payments, or rewards programs
• Expert-level SQL skills with query optimization experience
• Advanced knowledge of Amazon Redshift
• Strong financial and statistical analysis capabilities
• Experience with business intelligence tools (Metabase, Tableau, Looker)
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements
• Experience with materialized views, dbt, or similar tools

Bonus/Wishlist

• Experience mentoring junior analysts and establishing best practices
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python
• Experience with developing data pipeline with Apache Airflow and/or Retool for orchestration
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in financial services
