Frontend Developer – Contract

Join a project focused on elevating the user experience for a tinned seafood subscription e-commerce platform. This role is ideal for a senior front-end developer with a keen eye for design and expertise in Shopify and CSS. The primary objective is to refine the product page, ensuring it visually aligns with high-end gifting flows like those seen on leading coffee subscription sites. The project emphasizes a warm, minimal, and premium aesthetic, prioritizing readability, clear hierarchy, and a seamless gifting process. All visual enhancements must be achieved exclusively through CSS, with no modifications to the existing HTML or widget structure. This is a remote, short-term assignment with the possibility of future collaboration. Responsibilities

• Analyze the current product page and identify areas for visual improvement
• Implement CSS-only adjustments to achieve a premium, minimal, and user-friendly design
• Ensure the gifting flow is intuitive, visually appealing, and consistent with best-in-class e-commerce experiences
• Maintain strict adherence to existing HTML and widget structures
• Collaborate remotely and communicate progress effectively
• Deliver all updates within the agreed project timeline

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience as a front-end developer with advanced Shopify and CSS skills
• Demonstrated ability to execute high-quality visual enhancements using only CSS
• Familiarity with Recharge or similar subscription management integrations is a plus
• Strong portfolio showcasing e-commerce or subscription-based product page improvements
• Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on readability, hierarchy, and user experience
• Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight deadlines
• Remote work capability; availability for potential follow-up projects
