Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Assistant Accountant at Top Bookkeepers. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the Processing, Reporting, and Analysis of financial functions for small and medium-sized businesses. This role will involve preparing accurate financial reports, developing budgets and forecasts, and providing financial analysis on a regular basis.

Qualifications and Experience

• Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Reporting skills
• Accounting qualifications (CA/CPA preferred)
• Proficiency in financial analysis and controlling
• Experience developing financial budgets and forecasts
• Knowledge of business accounting principles
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience using accounting software packages
