Social Media Coordinator - Winchester, UK (Please note candidate needs to be based locally)

We’re The Thrifty Gentleman, an online brand selling stylish and affordable watch straps for both Apple and analogue watches. Based in Winchester (Weeke), but fully online, we’re growing fast and looking for someone creative to join us on a temporary, part-time basis.

The role:

We need someone who lives and breathes social media, especially Instagram and TikTok, to help us create fun, engaging photo and video content that showcases our products. Think lifestyle shots, quick edits, trending sounds, and creative ways to show off our watch straps.

What you’ll be doing:

• Creating photos and short videos for Instagram & TikTok
• Coming up with creative, on-trend content ideas
• Posting and managing content to help grow our reach
• Working independently and bringing your own ideas to the table

What we’re looking for:

• Somebody who loves social media and wants to turn that skill into paid work
• Confident using Instagram/TikTok features (Reels, edits, effects, sounds, etc.)
• Someone reliable, creative, and able to work flexibly around their own schedule
• You’ll need: an Apple Watch and a smartphone to create content (we’ll provide the straps!)

Details:

• Temporary, part-time role (around 8 hours a week)
• Flexible hours to fit around your studies or other work
• Fully remote (with products provided by us weekly in Winchester)
• £12.21 per hour
