Chief of Staff – Partnerships, Awards & Executive SupportAbout Me

I’m a business coach and founder (see my Upwork profile for more on my background) working with entrepreneurs and impact-driven companies. I’m looking for an experienced, self-starting Chief of Staff to help me manage partnerships, awards, and social media initiatives, and to act as my right hand in a fast-moving environment.

Role Overview

This role is part strategic and part hands-on. You’ll support me in identifying, building, and maintaining partnerships; researching and applying for awards/recognitions; coordinating my calendar and priorities; and amplifying my thought leadership on social media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, and pursue partnership opportunities with aligned brands and organizations.
  • Source and manage award applications, speaking opportunities, and recognitions.
  • Assist with business development, outreach, and follow-up to potential partners.
  • Plan and execute social media strategy (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) to build my presence and attract ideal clients.
  • Draft, edit, and schedule posts or coordinate with designers/writers as needed.
  • Organize and streamline administrative tasks related to coaching and events.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Chief of Staff, Partnerships Manager, Executive Assistant, or similar role.
  • Strong background in social media management and content strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable with research, outreach, and CRM/communication tools (HubSpot, Airtable, etc. a plus).
  • Availability to work across time zones and meet deadlines.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with coaching, entrepreneurship, or impact-driven businesses.
  • Experience drafting award submissions, grant applications, or PR pitches.

What You’ll Get

  • Direct collaboration with a founder/coach on high-impact projects.
  • Flexible, remote contract role with potential for ongoing work.

How to Apply

 Please send:

  • A brief intro about yourself and why you’re a great fit.
  • Examples of partnerships, awards, or social media work you’ve done.
  • Your hourly rate or project proposal.

You can send all details at sara@sarasimmonds.com
