Title: Project Manager

Type: Freelance, 40 hrs/week

Start: August 2025

Length: 6-12 months (with potential extension)

Location: Remote

Compensation: up to $50/hr DOE

Our SaaS client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to lead and support the end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives that enhance customer experience, drive retention and improve operational efficiency across the SaaS customer lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Plan, coordinate, and execute customer strategy initiatives within defined scope, timeline, and budget
• Build and manage detailed project plans, monitor milestones, and ensure deliverables are completed on time
• Prioritize projects and initiatives for maximum impact, moving them from planning through final implementation
• Assemble and align cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, RevOps, Product) to drive execution
• Create project governance structures, meeting cadences, and reporting frameworks for smooth delivery
• Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and reporting to stakeholders and leadership
• Manage project risks, dependencies, and scope changes proactively
• Own project communications, including hand-off to services and updates to senior leadership

Must-Haves (Don’t Apply Without These)

• 3–5 years of project management experience in a SaaS or high-growth B2B environment
• Proven success managing multiple cross-functional projects at once
• Strong skills in building timelines, tracking milestones, and coordinating stakeholders
• Ability to identify risks early and drive structured resolutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and levels
• Proficiency in project management tools (Asana, Airtable, Monday.com, Jira, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Project Management, or related field

You’ll Stand Out If You…

• Hold certifications such as PMP, Prince2, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster)
• Have experience working with customer lifecycle and retention-focused initiatives

This is a 40hr/week 6-12 month freelance contract with possible extension based on performance and project needs.
