About The Role As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Social Media Executive to join us manage our Instagram and TikTok accounts across our UK and US territories. Now is a really exciting time to join Student Beans, as we plan to pivot our approach to some of our social channels, and are very much open to change. We champion creativity, and we will give you the room to test and learn. You will have the opportunity to make a true impact on our social channels. Responsibilities include{{{{:}}}}

• Content creation (shooting, editing and uploading) for SBʼs Instagram & TikTok. Including but not exclusive to{{{{:}}}}
• Original video content where you act as ʻthe faceʼ of SB
• Present our vox-pops
• Written content e.g. Instagram feed and Stories
• Work hand-in-hand with our Design team. You will be working with a designer dedicated specifically to social media briefs. Together you will create innovative content that makes an impact.
• Create content for household brands such as JD Sports, Greggs, TUI, Dr. Martens and Samsung (to name a few recent ones) for our SB social channels.
• Monitoring Gen Z social trends daily and producing highly reactive and relevant content.
• Work closely with wider Brand and Comms teams (CRM, paid social etc) on project based work, acting as a stakeholder for the social team.
• Regularly reporting on channel / content performance, using this information to adapt where needed.
• Produce content that creates an uplift in our engagement rate, impressions and follower growth.
• Community management - communicating with our audience daily, embodying our tone of voice throughout and creating a positive rapport with our following across all platforms and territories.

RequirementsA little bit about you... We'd really like to hear from you, if you have...

• 1+ years of social media experience, either in-house or in an agency.
• Above anything, you're creative, quick and obsessed with social
• This is an entry-level role. We can teach you the technical stuff further down the line. What we can't teach, is creativity. We want you to be bursting with creative ideas, and extremely quick off the mark
• Experience running Instagram and TikTok accounts - creation, editing and uploading of content from scratch
• You live and breathe trends, news and pop-culture which are hyper relevant to Gen-Z and are confident creating content on these topics
• You're interested in journalistic content - uncovering stories and speaking on topics which really matter to our audience e.g. student safety, politics etc. We don't sit on the fence.
• Critical thinker - You strategically analyse work produced by both yourself and other members of the team. You base your feedback on a mix of data and opinion. You offer solutions as to how we can do better.
• You know what brands are cool - which ones our Gen Z audience want to hear about the most
• You're not afraid to put forward new ideas that challenge the status quo and champion testing
